Colts' QB Phillip Rivers throws touchdown pass in first game back
In his first NFL game in nearly five years, Indianapolis Colts' quarterback threw a touchdown pass in his first game back. With the Colts facing a 3rd-and-4 from the Seattle Seahawks ' eight-yard line, Rivers connected with Josh Downs for the touchdown. This capped off a 10-play, 58-yard scoring drive for the Colts' offense.
Two passes by Darnold to Cooper Kupp and Rashid Shaheed immediately put Seattle into field goal range, but two more ineffective runs led to the end of the drive. Anthony Bradford tried to pull on 3rd and 4 and Kenneth Walker tripped over him. Jason Myers banged one through from 47 to make it 3-3 to end the opening quarter.
The Seattle Seahawks didn't have the best defensive performance on Sunday against the Colts as PFF highlights some good and bad coverage performances.
