The Geminids are peaking this weekend. Amateurs and experts regard the dazzling celestial display as one of the year’s best meteor showers.
Monday night will mark the peak of the Orionid Meteor Shower, and we could see as many as 10 to 20 meteors per hour dancing across our skies tonight. The Orionid Meteor Shower is caused by fragments of rock or dust left by the famous Halley’s Comet.
