Continuing our collaboration with agency Commonwealth//McCann and production company O Positive, we lent our VFX chops in Walter’s wintry sequel. From matte painting to create snowy landscapes, to 2D compositing and beauty work across all shots, and of course crafting the CG cat in various scenes, we worked alongside our collaborators and director Spencer Riviera to ensure Walter’s new adventures were as impressive as the original. When Chevy Showcased Its Truck’s Smooth Ride by Vigorously Shaking a Dummy Television ads from around 50 years ago held a certain elegant simplicity. 🫨🫨🫨 They lacked computer-generated effects, emotional manipulation, or any ongoing storylines and recurring characters reminiscent of a Marvel movie. 🎥 🛻 To demonstrate the gentle ride of a vehicle typically linked with labor, they simply attached a seat to a wheel, fastened a dummy clad in cowboy attire, and let physics take over. #Chevy #GM
