In celebration of day 8 of Native American Heritage month we want to share this short video. For many years, the Honorable Cecile Hansen has been the elected chair of the Duwamish Tribe. She is the great- great-grandniece of Chief Seattle. Hansen and others established Duwamish Tribal Services in 1983 to strengthen the social and economic well-being of the Duwamish people.
